Wren, Fall
Wren, Fall is a dystopian novel with elements of science fiction derived from three previous plot bunnies smashed into one. Some characters and a semblance of plot came into being in early 2012 but it later burst into a rich cast with a concrete plot when I worked on it during NaNoWriMo.
The first draft was finished in November 2012 and I am currently revising it, which is a euphemism for: agonising over corny dialogue and awkward body movements while rocking back and forth in the foetal position because everything is Messy. That's right, Messy with a capital M.
But I'm enjoying the process as this is my first finished draft of anything vaguely novel-length and I hope when it stands in the shelves of bookstores one day, you'll be able to enjoy it as much as I did.
